Vintage Thursday Thingie: That '70's Patchwork Book

According to the author, Rachel Martens," Here are authentic old patterns for quilt blocks which appeared in FARM JOURNAL from the Twenties".

Well...

I confess. I had a jacket with fringe.

Too cool for school

Cowl neck sweater, ironed hair?

I had a patchwork skirt in the 70's so I'm not going to make me another one!

Yes I do remember these fashions. Were you surprised at who won Project Runway last night?

I'm pretty sure that last outfit you shared was designed by Kenley!

Reminds me of being about 8 years old when my Mom and Aunts are dressed in those outfits...or something very near. ;) I heart the 70's!

This 1970's book is terrific. I love
the style and colors of the fashion!
I think fashion goes much quicker
these days.... 15 seconds and you
can be on the internet with the
newest fashion style.

I'd like to say I don't remember those fashions - but I do. That Man's (?) vest would look great with a leisure suit!
