These are simple embroidered napkins, also from my dear, dearly missed MIL. (Wish I could iron better! :)

Great treasures, and the more valuable because they are from family.
What beautiful items. I love the handle on that dish.
Lovely items. I love embroidered 'anything'. I guess my sad iron would come in handy with those napkins.
Miri, the serving dish is very elegent. And those are the sweetest napkins. How very nice it is to have things from special people. Lovely.
It is nice you have this family piece of silver. Sounds like a lot of love is in it. The linens are lovely. I hope all is well...busy times.
I love it when treasures of Vintage things are from those we love....
Try ironing your napkins when they are damp...thats what my Noni always did!
What a great serving dish! You could host a tea with what you've shown today!
Nice pieces of history! As far as ironing goes, maybe you could try the 'sad irons' I read about in another posting! :) Thanks for sharing these!
Such a lovely serving dish..and I love the napkins. They are both real treasures. Happy VTT..hope your day is wonderful.
Oh Miri, those embroidered napkins have got to be the sweetest I've ever seen. Truly they are precious.
Great Dish and I LOVE THE napkins, guess it is an embroidery thing. :)
Miri, I have a soft spot for vintage silver. Yours is lovely. When I press linens, I have a spray bottle of water handy. A light mist then press with a steam iron. Then I give them a light spritz of spray starch and press again.
I love the dish and the napkins, and I really love your blog!
Such pretty things. Special too. Looks like you got some hints for the ironing. Hope they help.
Be thankful all of us for electric irons! How did my Mum iron our clothes so beautifully with flatirons? I think ironing is seriously over-rated, the napkins are loevley anyway!
