Its My Birthday...and I'll cry if I want to

Yep Happy Birthday to me! Not that I'm so excited by this one...no, not at all. Most birthdays I just happily ate cake.

16- I didn't even bother to get my driver's license until 17.

18-no big deal...still couldn't vote.

21-okay so now I could vote but it wasn't an election year.

30-took it in stride.

40-now that was a tough one and I have the jewelry to prove it.

50-went out and got a treadmill.

55-oooh, not so nice especially when I realized my face had fallen. But I bucked up-bought all those anti-gravity creams.

But this one...oh dear...60 years old!

How is this possible?

Oh, Miri....you are beautiful no matter the age! Happy Birthday my dear friend. I know how you feel, I have one this month, and well, I prefer no fanfare.....some members of my family do not respect that and have already started in on it.....sorta angers me really. I prefer to just let the day go by quietly, uneventful.....hope you have a great day!

Happy Birthday Miri - that birthday is coming up quickly for me too in a couple years. So far birthdays have not bothered me, but for some reason the number 60 does. Maybe we need to stop counting and ignore the number and just continue to enjoy life -- and keep buying Oil of Olay and hair dye :) LOL

Happy Birthday, Miri! You can cry if you want to, but how will your eyes and nose look afterwards? No reason for tears, 60 is not nearly as old as it used to be when we were old enough to count to 60.

I'm sorry. It happened to my younger sister this year and she didn't like it either. But, at least you're (and I'm) still creating and living and having a good time and being a blessing! So having said that, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Happy Birthday! The bright side is that now you can get the discounts at McDonalds...

Of course, you will have to show your ID, because the kid at the counter will never believe you are a day over 45

Happy Birthday! When you get to 60, seems the birthdays roll around faster and faster and more body parts have things go wrong. Just ask me! Still I am always happy to have another one roll around.
