This is a vintage applique quilt from the late 1940s in the Leaf pattern with an unusual center medallion of three "leafy" flowers. I love the variety of fabrics, including feed sacks in the leaves.
It is hand appliqued and hand quilted in an overall diamond pattern and around the applique leaves and stem.

WOW it's stunning...I adore vintage quilts!!
That leaf pattern is one of my favorites. :-) Thanks for showing this beauty today.
Your beautiful quilt is a real treasure. Think of all the hours spent to make this quilt!
Amazing quilt!
This is just beautiful; I love all of the different fabrics in the leaves, also.
That is really, really lovely. Do you use it?
I like how vintage 1940 fabric all seems to blend so well. Beautiful quilt. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, what a wonderful quilt. I love all the different fabric patterns in the leaves. Great item for today.
What a lovely quilt...the leaves are in such pretty fabrics.
Grace, we don't use this quilt but we do use the vintage Tumbling Blocks quilt I posted about earlier.
I always covet vintage/antique quilts. Of course I love this one & I just received a 30's/40's hand pieced top to longarm from a lady whose Grandma left it behind.I would love to live long enough to get caught up, lol!
