I especially like this pattern that I did in this black area-it reminds me of the 19th century embroidery pattern I used in a corner of my Crazy Quilt.
This quilt was started last year for the Black and White Challenge. You can click on the button on my side bar to go to the B & W Challenge blog and see all the wonderful quilts, bags and more made for this challenge. (I even made an apron.)
I'm linking today to Finished for Friday at Lit and Laundry and Sew and Tell at Amylouwho.

I had just noticed I messed up my comment that I left so I deleted it. I love the lay out of your red and white log cabin and I do not remember seeing one like that.

Oh I love this, I love the simplicity of the colors, nice and simple, black white and red really makes the quilting and quilt pattern stand out! Fabulous, just fabulous
Oh, that is stunning! Pretty quilt and quilting too. And I like your apron, Home At the Range -- too cute!
Great quilt and layout too. Log cabin squares are so versatile and forever changing
Gorgeous! Black, red, and white is simply a stunning combination.
This is gorgeous! I love the apron too! Great job.
Your black, white and red blocks give the log cabin quilt a very modern look. Great quilting, too.
wow...i love the red and black blocks...awesome work
Stunning! I don't have enough black and white in my stash right now but I'd love to make a quilt like this! The red really pops. I like that double loop quilting too.
Thanks so much for linking up to Finished for Friday and congratulations on a great finish!
this is lovely. i love the contrasts of color.
Fantastic layout. It really makes your eyes move. When my son was 5 I made him a black/red/white log cabin. Only the second quilt I'd ever made. Such a striking color combination.
Combination is so dramatic.Great work. I don't know how you quilters do it.. I have yet to learn.
I wouldn't have thought to put those colors together and have it come out so wonderful! It really is a work of art. Thanks for sharing. Happy Sewing! :o)
Beautiful quilt!
i love the loopy loop. I've been wanting to try that on one of my quilts. Hopefully I can pull it off. Great Quilt!

I made a log cabin quilt for that challenge: black, white, and orange. Your's is beautiful, I can see the diamonds.
What a beautiful quilt. You did a great job:)
Wow, that quilt is fabulous! My eyes just moved all over it - almost like looking at an optical illusion! Must be even more stunning in person! Thanks for visiting my blog on VTT!
I have to make red white & black quilts for my two older grandsons,so I may use some LC blocks, yours turned out really smashing, Miri.
That is such a lovely striking quilt. Love how you placed the blocks and colours.
I admire everyone who can quilt. I so love quilts but I have neither the patience nor the skill to do it. I'll come by more often and have a look at what you're doing.
It's so beautiful & elegant! I love the black and white with red accents ... one of my fav color combo.
I love graphic quilts like this.
Isn't it fun sometimes to limit the colors we work with in a quilt?
Love the black white log cabin!
looks like you had fun quilting it too!
