Valentine's Day always means something pink and lacy to me...so I decided to show a Wedgewood Morning Glory plate today and some of my doily collection (not quite pink and not quite lace but close :)
This Wedgewood Patrician plate is marked on the back and the date is impressed-the best I could make out of the date is 194? I'm not sure if its 1942 or 1947. The Patrician pattern was manufactured both alone and with a floral design.

That's a beautiful plte!
I also love vintage...I have a collection of Crinoline lady plates dating back to the 1930's

Miri, you have the most elegant things. Lovely Wedgwood plate. Handmade by your grandmother, your doilies are a valued treasure indeed. Do you crochet or knit?
What a beautiful plate, but I beleive the dollies are my favorite, I love vintage scarves and fabric items. And the fact that your Granny made them makes them even more special.
No, I don't knit or really crochet..I've crocheted rag rugs from fabric scraps but that's it...I'm just a quilter!
I love your wedgewood plate and your grandmother's crochet doilies are gorgeous :)
The plate is beautiful and so are the doilies.
I'm glad that Suzanne has her Mr. Linky messed up today. It caused you to visit me and got that belly laugh. I enjoyed it too.
Love that plate with the raised design around the border. I think the second lace looks very modern yet quilty, too!
What a wonderful plate..and such beautiful crochet. They're real treasures. Happy VTT..and have a lovely day.
Love the second doily especially, it reminds me of a quilt design too.
In Japan the taxi cabs all had white doily's on the head & arm rests LOL. I found it so quaint.
Those things made lovingly by our relatives hands are sweet reminders of their influence on our lives.

Beautiful plate! Roslyn (#29 on the list) also shows a Wedgewood today!
What a pretty plate and the doilies are just wonderful. How great that they were made by your grandmother.
Miri, what a beautiful plate, I love it. And the craftsmanship in the doilies made by your grandmother are wonderful. Thanks for sharing your treasures today! Have a very nice weekend.
The doilies are so pretty. I remember when people used them all over their house. Every couch and big chair had them on the backs and arms for protection. My mother made some beautiful ones. I made a few myself.

I love the plate and the doilies are stunning. I especially like the one with the raised pattern. Take care~
What a beautiful, dainty plate. I can imagine little tea brownies on it.
The doily's are lovely as well. Why can't I do something like that? Our grandmothers sure were talented.
What a great combination to display together today. The Wedgewood plate looks like a doily too. I have some of my grandmothers doily work that I also treasure!
