Amy at Park City Girl is hosting a virtual Quilt Exhibit this week so hop on over to Amy's to join in the fun and share a favorite quilt of yours.
I'm showing this hand-quilted colorwash log cabin quilt with hexagon flower applique. I made this two years ago and think it is just perfect for a lovely spring day.
It is one of my favorite quilts...if you want to see my ultimate, #1 favorite (and already blogged about) quilt, that would be the Wedding Quilt.

This quilt is delightful. I went and looked at your wedding quilt for your son. JUST GORGEOUS. So much work. I've taken a break from my Children's Hospital quilts. The garden is calling me and it's time to go play in the soil. :)Bea

Oh Miri, I think this is my favorite of yours. You do some amazing things with the log cabin block. This is definitely going in my new inspiration notebook.
I LOVE, LOVE this quilt the pattern the colors!
Very pretty! And so is the wedding quilt.
Both quilts are pretty. Nice to see the wedding quilt. I have a variation on that pattern in one of my books.

The wedding quilt is a good choice for a favorite, Miri. I wish I had seen it in person!
Very pretty. I like the idea of using the hexagon flowers as appliques.

Pretty springy quilt, I looked at the wedding quilt and it is stunning-the applique and the quilting!!
That is a perfect springtime quilt. Can't go wrong with log cabins, either straight or wonky.
Thanks for visiting my favorites and yes I'll show more of the princess feather quilt.

Stunning! your quilt is beautiful, the colours remind me of watercolours.
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. it brought me right to you to see what you selected as your favorite. I really like this colorwash log cabin--I don't think I've seen one done this way. Great job on your ultimate favorite, too: the wedding quilt. I don't do much handwork on my quilts except for beads and embellishments, but I admire all who do.
This is a sweet quilt, absolutely spring colours.
It's beautiful! thanks for sharing :)
Pretty colors and unique applique over log cabin, also LOVE you wedding quilt.

That is so beautiful. I love how such a classic pattern can feel so fresh and new with the right fabrics.
This is so pretty! I love the colors. You have been quilting for 19 years?? Amazing.
I am going to sign up and take a class (8 weeks) to learn to quilt. I stopped by today and talked with them, and he showed me the quilt we would be making.
I just looked at him like he was crazy..you should have seen the design and detail and I asked him if he was sure "first timers" could make that quilt. He just sorta looked at me crazy. He said well here, that is what you will be making instead of a nine patch. (I felt like I actually knew something because I knew what a nine patch was!!!)
Have a great week.
very cute and Love your wedding quilt! My wedding quilt is my favorite too!
happy sewing!
Zlaty
