WOW! Making this Disappearing 9-patch quilt top was so fast and fun too. I used lots of novelty fabrics-here are some of my favorites.
I just love this doggy fabric...first prize and a fire hydrant nearby! Also the horse fabric with lucky horse shoes (that's actually in three colorways -don't remember why I was so enchanted!but they are fun here).
Here there's a peak at one of the many chicken fabrics as well as the blackbird (crow?) fabric in the setting triangles and a cute teddy bear and hearts fabric that I just had a little piece of.
Here's a red cardinal fabric too.I'm planning on quilting this up very soon...as soon as I finish the big quilt I'm working on!
This is lap size...so much easier to work with.

Hey, that's a great way to make a nice looking scrap quilt and use up some of those odd and fun fabrics. Nice job. I have to make some more quilts for the Children's Hospital and I have a lot of weird, fun fabrics. I can use this pattern. I think the kids would love it. :)Bea
As you already know I'm crazy about quilts but I love the scrap quilts best, This is so cute, I love the red bird scrap and the chicken one. Nice job.

Lap quilts are my favorite. This is a fantastic quilt. I can't find the patch. It doesn't look easy so I will believe what you say. The fabrics blend very nicely. Can't wait to see it quilted!
This turned out so good! What a good way to use up a lot of scraps.. it looks great!
I love this top, so fun to look at all the fabrics in it! I'm gonna try this pattern once. Your BOM looks so cute, I have it prepared to applique too, but haven't found the time to start on it :0)

Wow, this came out great! I have made the disappearing 9 patch a couple of times, but never thought of setting the blocks on point. It really makes the whole thing come to life. And those fabrics are so adorable!

This quilt looks wonderful! I am still trying to figure out the diappearing nine patch part though.
I love scrappy quilts, someday when get through my UFO list I'll make some with the ton of scraps I can't part with.
