Quilt tops to quilt

Here’s the first top I’ll tackle for Finn’s New Year’s Eve Challenge. It has been in the closet for at least 12 years – look at the fabrics, “smells like the ‘90s” doesn’t it? Amazingly I still have the fabric for the border-I just kept passing it over, saying to myself that it was for the Bow quilt. Now I’m so glad I did.

Here’s the pile I’ll choose the next top from.

Bows are making a come back and what perfect timing for you to work on this top.

When I went to look for a holiday dress pattern whilst at the fabric store, there was a bow on each dress whether it was for holiday or an everyday dress.

Can't wait to see the rest of the quilts in the pile.

Those bows are darling. I might have to grab some graph paper and figure that one out!

I have a tendency to buy a bit of each color when I find a print I like in several colors. Tiny hearts and mini polka dots are my weakness.

Best Wishes!

Hi Miri! You’re invited to “My Favorite Things Monday” inspired by the Sound of Music! You sharing a picture and story of your current ‘favorite thing’ that cheered you up when life got you down, would be a blessing! I hope you can come! http://www.sarahlcc.blogspot.com I love this quilt! It is beautiful! I think bows are making a comeback....
